EcoKos is the first and only licensed company in Kosovo for the collection, storage, and processing of used cooking oil (UCO). With a large operational network that serves over 1,200 clients across the country—including restaurants, hotels, and major businesses—EcoKos plays a vital role in environmental protection by ensuring the safe and sustainable treatment of oil waste. The company sought to modernize its operations through a custom-built digital platform that could automate and optimize the full lifecycle of UCO management, from collection to export
The core challenge was the manual and fragmented nature of data collection, coordination, and customer communication, which resulted in inefficiencies and limited scalability. The client needed a digital system that could handle real-time data input from collection points, streamline the internal workflow between teams, and enhance service quality through better customer engagement. Our solution was the design and development of a dedicated web and mobile platform tailored specifically to the UCO industry.
